2016 MWAS Coaching Scholarship Application

This form is to be completed by all coaches wishing to be on scholarship and part of the MWAS Coaching Effectiveness Program in 2016. The scholarship year is from January 1st 2016 - December 31st 2016. Applications submitted after 2nd November 2015 will not be considered. All 2015 coaches must re-apply for 2016. Coaches must address the following criteria to be considered for a coaching scholarship with MWAS. It is important both MWAS and Regional and State Sporting Associations are investing resources into coaches who have time, commitment, and passion for continuously developing their coaching and will embrace the opportunity to receive development from MWAS. Coaches should contact their relevant State Sporting Association to ensure that their application will be endorsed before completing this application. If you do not receive a receipt confirming that MWAS has received your application, within 5 days of submitting it, contact MWAS on mwas@sportshouse.net.au

Expectations:
1. Participate in planning meetings with Coaching Effectiveness Consultant (CEC) and have a development plan with goals and actions.
2. Complete a self-assessment of coaching.
3. Complete monthly review of plan with CEC.
4. Attend at least 75% of MWAS workshops.
5. Attend all* MWAS sponsor functions and events (e.g. scholarship launch, MWAS networking events). *Valid reason must be provided if not in attendance.
6. Adhere to MWAS Coach and Officials Code of Conduct and all relevant MWAS policies.
